She has decades of experience in social investment, policy analysis, and advocacy

Adama was previously the Corporate Relation’s Director for multinational Diageo. One of the only females to have held that role.

Adama has held strategic corporate affairs roles with oil giant Tullow oil and more recently Exxon were she took responsibility for Public and Government affairs across Africa.

Adama is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She also holds a Masters in Financial Law from the School of Oriental and African Studies, London.

Fluent in several languages, she brings a wealth of global knowledge and a track record of successful implementation in Francophone Africa.

Javier is an industry expert and thought leader in digital banking. He sits on our board as an operating partner and independent advisor. Javier brings two decades immersion in banking, Digital Banking and Financial Technology including bringing to market Temenos Infinity - Temenos’ $1billion Digital Banking offering.

He led the organisational restructuring and operational turnaround of Temenos’ Middle East and Africa digital banking division.

Prior to Temenos, where as the Director of Digital banking he successfully oversaw all aspects of product and commercialisation, Javier worked with Finteq and most notably CR2 were he took a Global role driving partners in Latin America and sales in Africa, Middle East and Asia.

Javier's specialisation includes setting up organisational structures and go to market strategies, processes and approaches. He has a track record of improving revenue capabilities of organisations.

Ebele is Managing Partner of Altica Partners. He joined Altica as a Managing Director in 2016 and has 18 years experience across developed and emerging markets including over a decade structuring and deploying financial products across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Prior to Altica Partners, Ebele was Head of Middle East & Africa Commodities & Sub-Saharan Africa Cross Asset Origination within the Investment Banking division of Credit Suisse.

From 2010-2013, Ebele was Executive Director, Africa at Goldman Sachs within the Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities division in London and Dubai where he was responsible for corporates, financial institutions and sovereigns.

Ebele was Head of Corporate and Commodity Clients at Standard Chartered Bank from 2008 through 2010 based in Lagos and london within Global Markets and Head of Commodity Institutional Sales for Europe, Americas and Africa.

From 2002 to 2008 he held various roles within the Fixed Income Division at Lehman Brothers and led the European Commodity Investor Solutions team advising European asset managers, pension funds and hedge funds on portfolio allocation and diversification. Ebele started his career in 2000 at Standard & Poor’s MMS as a research analyst in the emerging markets group.

Ebele holds an MBA from London Business School and a BSc in Economics from the University of Surrey, Guildford, UK. He also holds UK FCA Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments qualifications in Financial Regulation and Derivatives.

Yvonne is a UK and Ghana-based corporate lawyer. She has worked for top law firms in the United Kingdom and Ghana including, international law firm DAC Beachcroft LLP, Hempsons Solicitors, and N Dowuona and Company, a corporate and commercial firm in Accra. Yvonne is a licensed Solicitor and Barrister of the Supreme Court of Ghana, holds a professional Baccalaureate in Law (BL) from Ghana School of Law, Bachelor of Laws from The University of Hull (UK) and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional for Europe (CIPP/E) and a member of International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), UK.

Yvonne is passionate about television and the acting industry having lived a previous life as an award-winning actress appearing in various television productions and commercials in Ghana and the UK.

Yvonne has advised on a wide range of deals across Europe, Middle East and Africa including the property investment portfolio of Saudi conglomerate Kingdom Holdings. Her competencies extend to entity formation and all commercial agreements including Software As A Service (SaaS) agreements.

She is the founder of The Forgotten Foundation and Dringhouses Community Foodbank Charity in the UK.

Preshan Govinder is an experienced fintech & financial markets professional.

His career has spans several years at Refinitiv and FIS were he lead their private equity business in sub Saharan africa and Israel.

In his current role at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, they have created a Private Placements business with the mandate of helping to build on the JSE’s ability to raise capital for non-listed entities.

The vision of JSE Private Placements business is to be the most effective way for private companies to raise and manage investments on the African continent. They aim to connect Issuers and Advisors with Investors and Distributors.” Preshan is fundament to this success.
